The National Council of University Students has called in a motion for the establishment of transport agreements for out-of-town university students.
Therefore, the CNSU is asking for agreements for transport for out-of-town students:
- in the appropriate technical-political forums, attended by the Minister of University and Research, Maria Cristina Messa, the Minister of Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility, Enrico Giovannini, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Daniele Franco, the National Council of University Students and the local authorities and transport companies concerned, to analyse the critical situations in order to find appropriate solutions;
- the Ministry of Education intervenes in order to guarantee territorial continuity. Therefore, this should be done where necessary and to allow the right to university study to be fully exercised by every student. Therefore, as enshrined in Article 3 of our Constitution, to remove economic obstacles that effectively prevent the full development of the human person;
- we are aware of the regional autonomies. Aiming to agreements and conventions are drawn up between the Ministry of Universities and the main air, rail and road transport companies. The companies are chosen, operating on Italian territory, to ensure conventions with preferential rates for all university students.
